Ukrainian schools: physics, biology and chemistry are no longer compulsory

Physics, biology and chemistry will no longer be compulsory subjects in grades 10, 11 and 12 in Ukrainian schools. — Ministry of Education and Science.  Foreign literature, world history, civics and geography will also no longer be compulsory.  Ukrainian language and literature, history of Ukraine, English, mathematics, physical education and “Defense of Ukraine” will remain as compulsory subjects. These changes will come into force from 2027.
