Amok run in New Orleans

Unidentified man crashes car into crowd in New Orleans on New Year's Eve. At least 10 people were killed and 30 others injured 


According to media reports, the police had to use firearms and shoot at the driver, and his actions were premeditated.

 Other media write that the driver was arrested after the shooting.


American secret services have classified the attack in New Orleans as a terrorist attack. The first in several years on US soil. An SUV rammed into a crowd of people, then the driver left the car and opened fire on the people.


The mayor of New Orleans also described it as a terrorist attack. 


The FBI reported the discovery of improvised explosive devices, Fox News reports.
