Sachsen: Kretschmer re-elected Minister President

CDU politician Michael Kretschmer remains Minister President of Sachsen. The 49-year-old achieved the required majority in the second round of voting in the state parliament in Dresden. 69 members of parliament voted for Kretschmer. His opponents Jörg Urban from the AfD and Matthias Berger as the candidate of the Free Voters received one vote and 39 votes respectively. In round two, the majority of votes cast was sufficient
