The Supreme Court of Romania has ruled that the presidential election must be completely repeated. Originally, a run-off election between the far-right, Kremlin-friendly candidate Calin Georgescu and the reform-oriented conservative-liberal Elena Lasconi should have taken place on Sunday. Georgescu, who received the most votes in the first round (22.94%), planned to stop all support for Ukraine in the event of an election victory.
